I was very pleased to be invited to participate and provide taster sessions in Hypnosis and Reiki during the Festival of Spirit in Thatcham, Berkshire on July 1st, 2012.  It is great opportunity to do something that I really enjoy, which is to get out and about and talk to people about how Hypnosis and Reiki can be so effective in helping them to make positive and beneficial changes to their lives.

It is wonderful to be able to dispel some of the myths about Hypnosis or Reiki and to demonstrate to people how they work and I love the look on their faces when they experience something different.

For the past two years at around this time I have been lucky enough to have been at Glastonbury Festival where I have been working in the Healing Fields – a place with a very special energy and special people.  The atmosphere is wonderful and it is a privilege to work there and try to help festival goers overcome their own challenges and to swap sessions with other therapists. There is no Glastonbury this year, Michael Eavis is giving the cows and the farm a rest.

So back to the Festival of Spirit, the aim of the event is to offer a the whole family a chance to experience new interests and activities. As well as health and well-being the day will also feature live music and gentle vocals,  traditional crafts and free  workshops throughout the day with lots of fun for everyone.  All the proceeds are in aid of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Air Ambulance.
